Why today rocked

1. I was thanked by a colleague for my 'fine teaching' and told that all the higher ups were "quite pleased by my teaching efforts".

2. I had a really fantastic recital run-through. At least I know I can do it. Whether I will or not seems less important now.

3. I found my lost glasses. The cat had hidden them neatly INSIDE my printer.

4. I was informed that I am Charleston's top choice for a flute substitute, and should I move there permanently, I could expect to play somewhat frequently.

5. My baby had a day that rocked.

6. I ate Chocolate Cookie Dough Ice Cream.

7. My accompanist is coming.
